h&m trend dressFirst of all: excuse my face, I was playing around with my make-up...
I allowed myself to take a break from the frustration of studying to try on the new dress my mum bought, then decided she didn't want and gave to me. I love the leather details!
I actually spent an hour doing my make-up. I was just looking for something to do other than studying, I guess. I have that one hard law exam in two weeks and if I don't pass it, they'll basically kick me out. I have a feeling that is going to happen. So whilst one part of me is already trying to make up a plan B, the other half is strictly believing in "if you're making a plan B you've already given up". Oh, God, just please let me pass!

h&m jumper, coat / new yorker pants / akira bootsHope you're all having a great week so far, I've finally started attacking my inner maths-hater. It's not an easy fight, but I'm determined to win! Without using any metaphores: I'm basically spending my time studying and procrastinating. Hope you've got funnier things to do and if you're studying to - I'm with you ;)

h&m turtleneck, jumper, bag / monki pants / akira bootsI guess I have a thing for eye-catching pants. I'm really loving the silver-pants trend, I actually bought these before I knew it was a trend. It was one of last year's lucky sale purchases. I do however find it tough to combine them with a top, so it always becomes this floppy sweater instead of something fancy. I like how it dresses down the pants, but I still think there has to be a better combination. Next ime, I guess. How do you like the outfit?

Tried another manicure yet again after spending two full days without any nailpolish on (clear coat doesn't count, does it?). I see the beauty of natural nails, but I can't help but to feel naked without nailpolish. So I put on some nude polish and a tad of silver. How do you like it?

I thought it'd be fun to open a new sort of section on the blog, so today I'm starting with the "Yummy Sunday" series. I will share recipes, food inspiration etc. with you, not every Sunday though (as my kitchen skills aren't endless). But I'll collect anything food related and then post it in a "Yummy Sunday" post. How does that sound to you guys?
For today, I'll start with a simple chocolate brownies recipe I found on the internet and tried on friday night. I also made a little video about it - hope you like!
- 120g chocolate (60% cocoa)
- 230g butter
- 480g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 140g flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1. Melt the butter in a pot (low heat) and then add all the sugar and the eggs.
2. Take another pot and melt the chocolate in it (on low heat, too). Then add the chocolate to the mixture in the other pot.
3. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder, then pour into the mixture and stir well.
4. Pour the dough into a baking pan (I didn't have a rectangular one, so I took a cake pan), heat the oven to 180°C and let the brownies bake for maximum 30 minutes (they must not get dry!).

Here's what you're looking at:
1. We're having a non-white winter here, but last Friday there was a little snowstorm.
Lucky me - I was at home and thus able to capture the moment
2. Exams are coming up and time is passing too fast once again. I hate studying,
but what has to be done... Somehow using a pink highlighter motivates me. And also, I like to watch
movies while studying. I know, not advisable, but I can't study in complete silence - it actually makes me nervous.
3. My skin got so bad lately, so I needed a facial. Done!
4. And last but not least: did some good sale shopping. You have seen most of
the items in outfit posts already (or will see them soon, anyways).
I know, my life is that exciting at the moment.

zara coat, bag / h&m men jumper / forever21 skirt / akira bootsA round of applause for the latest set of 'real' outfit photos on the blog! After four years of dating a girl who loves to blog, my bf gave in and took the camera in his hands. How do you think the photos turned out?

h&m shirt / h&m men jumper / primark leggings / fossil watchI got this jumper in the men's section while sale shopping. It was reduced from €35 to €3 - talk about a bargain!! I love the colour, anything in that type of blue instantly catches my eye. So, naturally, I had to bring this one home with me. I don't mind it being a little big on me (it's a men's size M), think it makes the whole look with the leggings and the shirt. How do you guys like it?

I know the new year is already two weeks old, but I still wanted to share my dreams/plans/wishes for 2012 with you.
1. I really, really wanna go to Amsterdam. I have no idea why, I've just really wanted
to go for a long time - so why not this year?
2. I need to take my boyfriend to Paris. Hope we can finally go this year!
3. I'll finally visit my friend in Berlin. She moved there last year and I've
promised to visit her ever since.
4. Spontaneously hopping in the car, dragging my boyfriend along and just driving to the seaside
or the forest and spend a day there - that's what I'd love to do. I mean, what do I have my license for?
5. I want to make loads of experiences with work, and as a matter of fact, I already made
sure that I will, both as a freelancer and in 'real' jobs.
6. Don't laugh at me, but I really want to bake a lot. I'd love to be one of those girls
who can create picturesque cupcakes and such.
7. Reading loads of good books is always good.
8. I want to spend a lot of quality time with my girls!

h&m top / primark cardigan / new yorker shorts / akira bootsIn theory, this is what I would have been wearing last night for drinks with my bestie (paired with opaques, of course). But then the weather changed - thunder, snow, rain and all. It got so freezing cold that I threw on my favourite pair of jeans and a huge knit jumper. In other words: not really worth showing to you guys. Hope you like this little 'what if' outfit anyways.
Enjoy your weekend!

Isn't that little piggy the cutest thing?
I used to say I'd get myself a miniature pig once I'm 'all grown up', just like other people get a dog. I kept on talking and talking about it, I even knew what I would name it, so I guess now, whenever my mum sees a pig she thinks of me (haha). So she got me this amazing necklace for Christmas.

Am I obsessed? No. Yes. A little. Maybe.
I love that there is such a big trend about flat shoes, for once. For spring, I am definitely getting myself a pair of loafers and some metallic oxfords. The only trouble is: I love all of the above, my wallet doesn't.
What do you think about the trends?

'Sac' is the french word for bag, and I think it suits this one pretty well. Got this little shopper at H&M and I just love it! I'd been eyeing it for quite a while. It is so soft and I love that two-tones thing. The perfect bag for uni! (besides my beloved Zara bag, of course)

h&m shirt, cardigan / h&m trend necklace / goddess london leggings / akira bootsEt voilà, you're finally getting to see some 'real' outfit pictures here. They look a little weird due to the fact that we had to take them in the garage because it had already gotten dark outside. Hence the bad lighting. Still, I'd love to know: How do you feel about this type of outfit pictures over here?

Since so many of you kept asking about the silver nail wraps, I'm giving you some more details now. The ones that I used are from essence, so they weren't expensive at all. As I said, it's pretty hard to put them on using your 'weak' hand, but the result still looks okay-ish. I've been wearing them for three days now and they still don't peel of. I found out that it's better to seal the tips with some clear nail polish, though, as they're very likely to crack if you don't just sit around doing nothing with your hands all day. Hope this was helpful to you all!
